Amazon’s Pay-on-behalf compliance service helps Sellers fulfill their environmental compliance obligations under Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws in the EU, and keep selling on Amazon. EPR is an environmental policy that makes Sellers who first place a product subject to EPR requirements in a country responsible for the entire life cycle of the products that they introduce on the market, from their design until the end of life.
As the Senior Business Ops Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks associated with one or more program level components, ensuring our compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a unique opportunity to manage a product and program setup that has multi-billion-dollar impact for Amazon.
To be successful in the role, you will need strong communication skills to work closely with stakeholders across multiple stores and functions. You will need to be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced landscape. This is a high visibility role across WW Director and VP groups at Amazon.
This role can be located in London or Luxembourg.
Key job responsibilities
1. Define and execute working backwards plans and mechanisms to successfully implement the Pay on behalf services program in EU
2. Define and track the metrics and goals needed to measure success across critical work streams in the program
3. Proactively identify gaps or blockers to Amazon and Seller compliance, propose solutions, and drive implementation across partner teams.
4. Actively seek ways to improve program related process efficiencies and effectiveness.
5. Communicate updates on key strategic programs and metrics to leaders and stakeholders
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
* Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
* Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge of procurement and source to pay processes and solutions or equivalent experience
* Experience identifying trends and needs to improve an already closed large-scale technology deal
* Experience in B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business
