We are a co-educational, non-selective state boarding school, for boys and girls aged 7 - 18,. This is a boarding school with Flexi Boarding students attending from the local area and a lively community of around 400 Full Boarders,passionately involved in a wide range of after-school and weekend activities and trips.

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Science Technician who can provide highly effective and innovative support to the teaching of science in the school, to ensure that all our students make excellent progress and inspire students to have a passion for the subject. They will be responsible for the preparation, distribution and collection of apparatus for lessons. Also required to prepare materials, equipment and science areas for use by Teachers and students. They must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of relevant Health & Safety regulations.
The Science department is one of the largest in the school, with 7 fully equipped laboratories; 2 Science Preparatory Rooms, Staff workroom and Faculty office. There is a very good ethos of cooperative and supportive working as part of a team and there is excellent organisation between teaching and support staff.
