Our client is currently recruiting for a Secretary / PA. Based in Aberdeen, the role is on a permanent, full-time basis.
ROLE
Provide support to the partners and solicitors in the private client team in the delivery of professional service to our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Diary management for solicitors and partners
Manage calls and emails from clients
Document management
Organising, maintaining and sharing of legal documents, to include filing, scanning, photocopying and the preparation of share files.
Scheduling appointments and managing fee earner diaries
Organising, maintaining and sharing of legal documents, to include filing, scanning, photocopying and the preparation of share files.
Audio typing
Preparation of letters, emails and documents
Document production of reports, presentations, court papers
Client case administration, including compliance, billing, accounts file opening and closing
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Criteria
Ability to deal effectively and politely with clients by email and telephone
Well organised
Competent in MS suite of applications and able to learn to use other software applications
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in plain English with colleagues of different levels of seniority, clients and other organisations in order to facilitate delivery of legal services to clients.
Ability to understand simple accounting functions;
Audio typing experience
Organisational skills
Act professionally and respect others
