An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pragmatic, hands-on HSEQ Advisor to join a leading FM and Infrastructure Service Company, operating across the UK.
Job Purpose:
To provide effective advice for the HSEQ team to deliver support to the wider business. Liaising internally with the HSEQ team and other departments as well as externally with training providers, clients, supply chain partners and other interested parties.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Produce & Review Risk Assessments & Method Statements as required
2. Produce & Review Construction Phase Plans as required
3. Complete H&S site inspections and produce inspection reports
4. Complete accident/incident investigations
5. Review HSEQ procedures and develop as required
6. Support external certification/accreditation audits
7. Provide competent H&S advice to all departments
Skills & Experience:
Have a relevant Health & Safety Qualification (NEBOSH Construction Certificate Level 3 or equivalent). Relevant experience, preferably within a similar role.
1. Good working knowledge of construction and maintenance activities and associated risks including but not limited to:
* Working at height
* Working with electricity
* CDM roles and responsibilities
* Temporary works
* Asbestos
* Confined Spaces
* Underground services
1. IT Skills – proficient in Microsoft Apps including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
2. Good communication both verbally and written.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
