We are looking for an experienced Events Manager to join our world-class team here. Our comprehensive and evolving range of business and industry-specific platforms allow our clients to showcase their corporate vision and success stories showcasing senior executives. Responsibilities Supplier and Venue Management: Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with venues and suppliers (e.g., AV, catering, décor, etc.). Conduct site visits and ensure venues meet event requirements. Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality services. Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, ensuring costs are tracked and aligned with financial goals. Forecast, report, and reconcile expenses, ensuring that events are delivered on time and within budget. Internal Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, data, design, video, finance and content teams to align the event with brand messaging and ensure the effective promotion of the awards. Collaborate with the sales team to support sponsorship acquisition and fulfilment. Liaise with leadership to communicate event progress and strategy. Event Logistics and Operations: Develop and manage event timelines, ensuring all milestones are met. Oversee event setup, execution, and post-event breakdown, ensuring all operational aspects run smoothly. Coordinate internal staff, including freelancers and volunteers, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clear. Stakeholder & Guest Management: Manage guest lists, invitations, and seating arrangements, ensuring VIPs and special guests are appropriately handled. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders before, during, and after the event. Post-Event Reporting and Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations, including budget reconciliation and performance analysis. Gather feedback from stakeholders to improve future events and reporting on key learnings and outcomes. Required 3 years experience in event management, with a focus on large-scale or high-profile events such as awards ceremonies. Strong vendor and budget management skills. Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for problem-solving under pressure. Ability to work flexible hours during events.
