AFR Operations Excellence & PCM/Gateway Apprentice We are seeking two apprentices for our PCM and Operations Excellence departments. These roles will focus on supporting air freight metric reviews, IKO’s and product process improvements. Successful candidates should have a keen interest in data analytics, problem solving including trend identification and data interpretation, and will contribute to process improvement initiatives. Key Activities can include: Support with carrier performance reviews. Manage operational exceptions and perform post-flight checks. Maintain and analyze the PCM/Gateway operations dashboards. Acquire knowledge of various roles within the AFR departments. Enhance understanding of current product processes. Ensure compliance with the DPDHL Code of Conduct and relevant regulations (e.g., anti-corruption). Contribute to the ‘First Choice’ continuous improvement program. Attend monthly team briefings and weekly performance discussions. Complete all required statutory and mandatory training. Each apprentice will be assigned a mentor throughout the program. Qualifications Minimum of 5 x GCSE passes including English and Maths. Person Specification Strong interest in data analytics and process improvement. Good administrative skills with attention to detail. Results driven with the ability to prioritise and perform under pressure. Good interpersonal skills. Good written and spoken English. Good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
