Job Title: Field Water Treatment Service Engineer
Location: High Wycombe
A well-established and market-leading water treatment specialist has a key requirement for a Field Water Treatment Service Engineer due to growth. They will be based in the Buckinghamshire area, this is a field role and will require covering a national area, roughly 30,000 miles per year visiting client sites to carry out water treatment. The company values fairness and balance, with hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. If one day runs over, they will shorten the next to ensure balance is maintained. They also prioritize internal growth to ensure progression is available.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m
The successful Water Treatment Engineer will be tasked with the following:
1. Carrying out physical water conditioners
2. Installing ultra violet disinfection systems
3. Managing chlorine dioxide dosing systems
4. Maintaining water softeners
5. Overseeing reverse osmosis systems
6. Handling filtration equipment
7. Implementing chemical dosing systems
Water Treatment Engineers will provide technical assistance on company products to clients and staff, maintain customer service/maintenance files, spreadsheets, and databases, identify faulty equipment for returning to suppliers, and maintain records. They will lead installation projects, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard, and will carry out and review Risk Assessments (RAMS) and Method Statements for installation activities. Good time management is essential as they will be traveling to client sites.
To be successful as the Water Treatment Engineer, you will need:
1. Prior experience working in the utilities (water) industry
2. Experience with L8 services delivery
3. Tank cleaning and chlorination experience
4. Osmosis specialist experience (advantageous)
5. Commercial pipe fitting experience (advantageous)
6. Experience with softener services

* Salary Range: £30K - £40K depending on experience
* Commission structure: £1,500 Y/E on target bonus (pro-rata)
