Cygnet is looking for Support Workers to join our team working at Oakwood you have previously worked or are currently working as a care assistant, healthcare assistant, or support worker and are looking for a new opportunity to help support residents with learning difficulties & autism within a care home setting as part of the NHS partnership then read the below...
Oakwood Gardens has 9 self-contained bungalows supporting adults over the age of 18 with learning difficulties & autism located in WV5 0BR, Wombourne.
Please be aware successful candidates will need access to their own vehicle with a clean UK Driving Licence.
About the Role...
1. Working both Days & Nights including Alternative Weekends
2. 42 hours a week
3. Helping to promote resident independence
4. Supporting residents in all aspects of day-to-day life, encouraging and promoting independence
5. Monitoring of residents and reporting concerns to senior team members or managers
6. Going out with residents into the local community to attend events, parks, restaurants and local activities
7. Completing residents records to help monitor health
