Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire students while meeting National Curriculum targets.
2. Foster the development of literacy, numeracy, and communication skills tailored to individual student needs.
3. Lead and manage teaching assistants, ensuring high standards of performance and collaboration.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, implementing strategies for improvement and achievement.
5. Work collaboratively with residential care staff to provide consistent care and positive outcomes for children.
Your Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
2. Experience teaching primary-aged children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
3. Strong understanding of child development, attachment, and equality and diversity principles.
4. Effective communication and team leadership skills.
5. Ability to create and maintain a purposeful, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
