As a Quality Inspector, you will work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure the efficient and timely production of high-quality parts for our customers. You will play a key role in delivering quality components and assemblies, supporting both prototype and series production projects.
Your responsibilities as a Quality Inspector:
1. Carry out product tests and thorough independent final inspections of finished assemblies, formally reporting all defects.
2. Inspect components at all stages of the manufacturing process, including Goods-In Inspection.
3. Maintain accurate build and inspection records, ensuring all incidents of non-conformance are recorded.
4. Support process improvement activities and alert the Quality Manager to ongoing issues, providing resolutions.
5. Control the Quarantine Area and manage the stock of calibrated tools and equipment.
6. Prepare inspection reports, inspection checklists, and other required documentation, performing capability studies and other QA functions as needed.
Your current experience which will help you as a Quality Inspector:
1. Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades C and above) and at least 3 years’ experience in a relevant role and industry.
2. Proven experience in a Quality Department within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
3. Experience in electrical systems or wire harness manufacturing and inspection.
4. Proficient in the use of MS Excel and competent in other Office 365 suite software.
5. Excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Fluent in English with the ability to document and report accurately.
