Job Description
Due to recent growth and our technology, we're growing our control tower team and looking for you to join us as our Subcontractor Automation Manager.
You will take full ownership of automating subcontractor management processes, onboarding key accounts, and enhancing compliance standards to drive operational efficiency. Working closely with our internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders, you will deploy Wincanton's platforms and digitise workflows, ultimately ensuring the successful delivery of our automation strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the onboarding process for key clients, ensuring their subcontractor management processes are effectively transitioned to digital platforms.
* Manage and improve compliance/rate structures to optimise transaction fees across contracts.
* Develop and execute the rollout plan for integrating current contracts into Wincanton's platforms, ensuring seamless implementation.
* Oversee deployment processes with hauliers and transport providers, both within and outside of the Wincanton Group.
* Devise a comprehensive training plan for teams based in our Control Tower (Notts), including the development of onboarding processes for new colleagues.
* Ensure compliance with back-office operations related to our EyeQ Marketplace, managing all necessary reporting and administrative functions.
* Facilitate and lead customer demos and product presentations to highlight the capabilities of our platform and drive customer engagement.
* Own the relationship with our IT team to align system roadmaps with operational needs, ensuring platform functionality meets business requirements and stays future-proof.
What will you bring to our team?
* Experienced in digitisation initiatives, projects, and automation within logistics/supply chain.
* Strong ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement with digital marketplace initiatives.
* Savvy reporting and analytical skills, showcasing the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
* Confident communication with excellent interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and drive success with stakeholders.
* Strong experience of planning and optimisation software (platforms like Ortec or similar).
