Applause IT is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a skilled Data & Analytics professional to join our client's innovative team as a Data & Analytics Lead. This role is based at their head office in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities for the Data and Analytics Lead:
1. Data Management : Oversee data generation, processing, and recording. Ensure data accuracy and quality across all sources.
2. ETL Processes : Lead the migration to SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and maintain robust ETL processes.
3. Reporting & Analytics : Support Business Intelligence needs through regular and ad hoc reporting, ensuring data reliability.
4. Data Strategy & Governance : Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy, ensuring compliance with data governance policies.
5. Team Leadership : Mentor and develop a small data team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
6. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
7. Proven experience in data management, MIS reporting, and ETL processes.
8. Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, data warehousing, and database management systems.
9. Proficiency in data visualisation tools (, Power BI).
10. Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
11. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge the status quo.
