Community Integrated Care is recruiting for Bank Support Workers!
As a Bank Support Worker, you will support people who have learning disabilities, autism, mental health concerns, or dementia with their daily routines to live the best lives possible.
You’ll be joining an award-winning charity in an exciting role where you can transform someone else’s life while transforming your own too! Whatever your background, there’s a rewarding career in care for you – one where you can follow your passions and learn new skills too.
One of the values at Community Integrated Care is our passion for our people, and every year we invest heavily in our front-line worker pay, in line with the Living Wage increase each April.
Our promise has always been clear: we will do everything in our power to improve pay for colleagues.
So, until 31 March your pay will be £11.94 per hour, and then from 1 April, it will increase to £12.62 per hour.
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
We’re looking for candidates who are caring, dedicated, love working with people, and share the values that make our charity so special.
Prior experience of working in care isn’t always necessary. If you have other skills and experiences that you can bring to this role, we will give you all the support that you need to succeed!
You’ll be able to come to work every day and use the very best of your personality and skills as you support people who share your interests to do the things they love the most.
Your values:
Being happy, friendly, and understanding is the key to this exciting opportunity. We are looking for easy-going, calm, kind, and animated people to join our cheery team. We know it takes a special person to work in social care, and we recognize that not everyone that would be perfect for the role will have professional experience. This is why we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values and we recruit people from all walks of life; from people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role to people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
Naturally, it is important that you share our company values - We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable, which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high-quality, consistent care & support.
People's values are important to us, so we are looking for people with:
* Patience
* A good listener
* Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to others
* A strong work ethic
* Reliability
* Honesty
* Determination
* Resilience
