Integrity Education Solutions are supporting a specialist children’s care provider, who are seeking to appoint an experienced Headteacher to lead an exciting new SEN school opening in the Lancashire/Yorkshire region from July 2025. This specialist trauma-informed SEN & SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school will offer a nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people aged 11–16 with a wide range of needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop and implement the school's vision, values, and policies * Lead the Senior Leadership Team and overall school improvement strategy * Ensure a high standard of teaching and learning across the school * Lead on safeguarding, curriculum development, and pupil outcomes * Maintain compliance with Independent School Standards and Ofsted expectations * Liaise with local authorities and commissioning bodies * Be a visible leader and positive representative for the school in the wider community KEY REQUIREMENTS: * QTS or QTLS (essential) * Minimum 2 years' experience in an SEN or similar setting * Proven leadership experience within a SEN or mainstream school * Passion and commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed education * NPQH or NPQSL (desirable but not essential) * Strong understanding of SEND and the statutory and emotional needs of vulnerable learners * Excellent communication and team leadership skills BENEFITS OFFERED: * Attractive bonus package * Fully funded CPD opportunities * Senior leadership support and mentorship * Private medical insurance * Employee Assistance Programme * NEST Pension Scheme * Blue Light Card discount eligibility Salary offered: £50,000 - £60,000 If this role interests you, please contact Kenny Fraser at Integrity Education Solutions.
