Who we are looking for: A qualified or part-qualified accountant with demonstrable industry experience, with previous exposure to a multi-company/multi-currency group. A hands-on team player with the ability to innovate and commercialise the finance function. The purpose of this role: Responsible for maintaining robust and auditable financial processes, to deliver accurate financial reporting to key stakeholders for an operation and legal entity of MPB. Where you'll work: This role will be based in our Brighton office 2 days per week, 3 days at home ☀️ Day to day this role will include Ownership of P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow for a legal entity, including all inventory and margin processes. Maintain in depth knowledge of the operations within your entity, to add insight to the management accounts and ensure this is reflected accurately and completely in the financial results Assist with management account preparation and reporting for key internal and external stakeholders Management information reporting requirements of the entity, including KPIs and unit economics Provide leadership, coaching and development of Finance Assistant VAT/Indirect Tax returns and other submissions to Tax Authorities Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations ensuring timely communication of any risks and opportunities to senior management Assist with all aspects of year end consolidated accounts and audit preparation at group (IFRS) level Provide leadership, coaching and development of Finance Assistant About you ACA/ACCA/AAT/CIMA qualified/part-qualified with demonstrable finance experience in industry Experience gained in a multi-company, multi-currency group (e.g. in a group with a US or/and German subsidiary) Management experience would be beneficial but not essential.
