This is a specialist post to support the strategic development and operational use of key financial systems. The successful candidate will have a proven track record and extensive experience in NHS or equivalent experience in a large organisation with complex workforce systems with the ability to work flexibly under pressure to achieve the objectives of the post. Main duties of the job Responsibilities and duties of the role - Line management and supervision of the Band 4 Finance Systems Officer. Responsible for pro-actively driving forward the development and enhancements of Oracle eBS which includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Procurement systems of the general ledger system, other associated systems and reporting functionality as required by the Trust, in conjunction with our supplier NEP Cloud. To lead on the continual development of Financial Systems, to provide users with a modern, responsive system that provides the right information at the right time. Responsible for providing expert advice and support to users of the Oracle Financial system, REACH Reporting System and Budgeting and Forecasting systems (EPM/ePBCS) and any other systems as required. To assist with the provision of a robust and efficient reporting service according to strict timetables. Responsible for the management of all financial systems including maintaining and developing system controls, reviewing processes and ensuring that associated procedures are fit for purpose.
