Senior Technical & Quality Assurance Analyst
The team handles complaints and errors within Operations, providing advice and leading improvement activities by identifying technical issues and learning from best practices. They report to the Head of Technical & Quality Assurance and support operational teams and senior managers.
Role and Responsibilities
The main duties include:
* Handling complaints and errors.
* Supporting audits for ISO, AAF, and PASA accreditations.
* Conducting internal quality assurance audits against standards.
* Identifying performance measures and implementing process improvements.
* Ensuring technical standards are communicated and implemented timely.
Complaints and Errors
* Managing complaint/error analysis and responses, identifying trends, and recommending improvements.
* Monitoring logs and working with teams for resolution.
* Collaborating with risk and operational teams on liability and reputational issues.
Audit
* Supporting various audits and implementing improvements.
* Performing the Quality Manager role within ISO QMS.
Quality Assurance
* Developing measures to meet standards and legislative requirements.
* Conducting regular audits and reporting outcomes.
Process / Best Practice
* Developing and implementing best practice processes.
* Training staff on standards and compliance.
* Maintaining communication templates and member web content.
Technical
* Communicating technical and regulatory changes.
* Providing technical support and updates on projects.
* Responding to technical queries and managing information hubs.
Experience and Competencies Required
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Third-Party Administration sector, strong communication, and advanced numerical skills. They should be team-oriented, able to work independently, and possess excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure and deadlines.
Required experience includes:
* Several years in administering Defined Benefit pension schemes.
* Desire to improve standards and procedures.
* Excellent complaint handling and communication skills.
* Audit management experience and continuous improvement implementation.
* Strong technical and legislative knowledge.
* Experience in training and developing others.
* Report writing and communication skills.
* Qualifications: A-Level or equivalent, professional certifications like APMI or DPA.
* Experience with Profund, oPen 2, Intellipen, Bizflow, and supporting AAF, ISO, PASA.
