As Service Sales Support you are a member of the Service Sales Team based in the UK. You will achieve targets set by Head of Service Sales, based on the country strategy. You will enable efficient Service Sales business with professional administration support as well as lean and efficient processes and will provide back-office support for the Service Sales business in the UK. Your Responsibilities: Execute back-end sales support initiatives set by the Head of Service Sales, including: Creating individual customer profiles including specific details of customers business models, vision & values, installed base and trading history analysis. Preparation of material required for customer meetings; service history & installed base analysis. Monitoring the installed base for potential new customers, vessels & installations. Customer classifications and targeting new installed base for service & new business. Drive sales of services and service products as well as end user decisions to specify Accelleron Turbochargers for their newbuilding projects to capture full market potential. Communicate and coordinate with Operations, Business Development, Market Communication and Technical Advisor as required. Communicate with the Service Agreements Manager to refine processes and provide service excellence to improve customer experience in contract management. Business Development Support Support market intelligence and business development projects as required to drive the growth of the business. Collect information gathered by Service Sales Team during customer visits as part of market intelligence input. Support Business Development as required to achieve overall (LU /Service Station) goals. Update customer database (ATURB) to maintain and ensure data quality in line with Sales & Operations initiatives. Ensure collected data is structured and maintained into appropriate grouping (e.g., market segments / customer classification / country / AREAs). Market Communication Support Support annual planning of the market communication activities and development of a market communication plans for the LU/Area in alignment with the market communication targets of the DIVISION. Support research/evaluation of existing and possible new market communication channels & tools including benchmark competitors and/or related industries at LD Level. Close cooperation with the Director, Head of Service Sales & Market Communicator to ensure marketing plans meets the strategy required to help drive the business. Support the Creation & Distribution of DIVISION printed matter (product brochures, customer magazine, facts and figures, activity reports, contact info, Who’s who and TurboFocus. Monitoring Monitor & verify major customer complaints & claims, coordinate with other functions to develop solutions. Support definition / implementation of corrective actions Support review, monitoring & evaluation of performance of customer accounts. Monitor CCRP. Your Background: Successfully completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a Mechanical or Marine Engineering discipline. Minimum qualification requirements HNC/HND or similar. Experience in the Marine or Power Generation industry, ideally in the operational & sales sector would be preferred. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Passionate about providing a high-level customer experience. Familiar with Office software packages.
