Job Description
Pay Rate: £12.50 to £13 per hour. Plus paid travel time & mileage.
Minimum of 1 Hour Visits with your regular clients, so you have the time to build great relationships and you don't feel rushed.
We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients. The Home Instead team covers the Newport, Cwmbran, Chepstow, Caldicot, Abergavenny & Monmouth area.
If you are new to care or have experience as a Care Professional/HCA Support Worker, we would love to hear from you! If you don’t have experience, that is not a problem. We provide full training and encourage candidates from all different backgrounds to apply. For example: hairdressing, cabin crew, retail, hospitality, cleaning, bar staff, office-based or looking for a new role after the furlough scheme end date. Home Instead offers training with our in-house Learning & Development team to gain NVQs in Health & Social Care and other career path development & support.
We require all candidates to have a full UK Driving license and access to a vehicle. (Generous Mileage Allowance with this role)

As a Care Assistant, you will provide a variety of services to help older people live independently in their own homes, such as:
* Home Help, i.e., cooking, cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, etc.
* Companionship; being a friendly face and supporting with shopping visits, appointments, and community events.
* Personal Care; improving individuals' personal hygiene while maintaining privacy, dignity, and independence.
