Your New Job
Your role is to provide high quality control and support to the Finance Business Partner and Divisional Head of Finance for Power. This will include:
* Ensuring controls are well maintained and adhered to.
* Ensuring close control of working capital playing a pivotal role in the company and wider group investment.
* Preparing accurate financial and commercial information.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Working with external auditors re annual audit.
* Working closely with finance/commercial processing teams to ensure control compliance.
* Debtor and Creditor reviews with respective teams.
* Maintenance of key tax control accounts.
* Review and oversee payroll process ready for finance partner sign off.
* Preparation and control of cashflow and working capital for finance partner review.
* Ensuring best practice controls are adhered to and enhanced.
* Maintain accurate and up to date P11d records.
Desirable Qualifications & Professional Membership(s):
* Part qualified accountant, with a desire to progress and challenge.
Desirable Knowledge & Experience:
* Desirable commercial experience.
* Excellent Excel and system skills and experience.
* Experience of working in an accounting role.
Skills & Personal Qualities:
* Willingness to challenge everything and not accept the status quo.
* Ability to influence and to motivate.
* Ability to respond to pressure.
* Ability to work at pace and desire to succeed.
