Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an established FMCG business in Leeds who are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead and enhance its Quality Assurance function. This is a confidential search for a strategic leader who can ensure product excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a dynamic environment. As QA Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and leading a dedicated team to maintain high standards. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and experience in quality systems such as BRC and ISO.The role will be hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage quality assurance policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements. Oversee quality control across production, packaging, and distribution. Conduct supplier quality audits and ensure compliance with agreed specifications. Work cross-functionally with procurement and supply chain to resolve quality issues. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality concerns. Manage internal and external audits, including regulatory and customer inspections. Monitor quality metrics and report insights to senior management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function. Oversee customer complaint handling and ensure effective resolution. Key Requirements: Extensive experience in a QA role within an FMCG environment - ideally retail Strong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards. Experience with BRC and ISO compliance. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in quality management software and reporting tools.
