Are you an experienced Interaction Designer looking for your next challenge in a mission-driven environment? We are NHS Wales and are seeking a Lead Interaction Designer to join our team and play a key role in shaping critical services, including Vaccination and Pharmacy Services.

What You’ll Do
1. Lead and mentor teams, embedding best practices in interaction design.
2. Develop and implement user-centred design strategies for complex services.
3. Advocate for research-driven design, ensuring solutions meet user needs.
4. Engage with stakeholders, balancing technical, business, and user requirements.
5. Drive continuous improvement, identifying new technologies and methodologies.
What We’re Looking For
1. Strong experience in Interaction Design with a track record of delivering impactful services.
2. Proficiency in prototyping, usability testing, and service design methodologies.
3. Expertise in Agile working, digital transformation, and stakeholder engagement.
4. Experience designing for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications and digital platforms.
5. Ability to coach, mentor, and lead teams towards user-first design solutions.
Bonus Skills
1. FEDIP Senior Practitioner certification or equivalent.
2. Experience in the NHS or the healthcare sector.
