As an Operations Performance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of up to 15 Sewage Treatment Works and managing a small multi-skilled team of up to 12 technicians.
Your role will involve driving improvements in operations while focusing on the environment and customer satisfaction. You will need to inspire and motivate your team, and a driving licence and car ownership are essential due to site visits.
What you’ll be doing as the Performance Manager:
* Health and Safety: Lead the Health & Safety culture of the team, ensuring compliance and good practices.
* Process Management: Manage the compliance of Sewage Treatment Works to meet regulatory quality targets.
* Performance Management: Drive team performance, develop skills, and enhance Health & Safety awareness.
* Financial Management: Manage the budgetary and financial activities of the team.
* Customer & Stakeholder Management: Ensure exceptional service with timely interventions.
What should you bring to the role?
* Experience managing an operational team with strong leadership skills.
* Experience in fostering a Health & Safety culture, ideally with IOSH or equivalent qualification.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven track record of raising team standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
