Job Title: Children's Home Behaviour Therapist (CBT, Mental Health, PACE Therapy)

Job Summary:
Serenity Specialist Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Children’s Home Behaviour Therapist specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and PACE Therapy to support children and adolescents with mental health and behavioral challenges in a home environment. The therapist will work closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized intervention plans, fostering positive behavioural changes and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct behavioral assessments to identify emotional, cognitive, and social challenges.
* Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on CBT and PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy) principles.
* Work closely with families and caregivers to provide training and guidance on behavior management strategies.
* Utilize evidence-based interventions to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and autism-related behaviors.
* Monitor and document progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
* Collaborate with schools, social workers, healthcare providers, and community organisations to ensure a holistic approach to mental health support.
* Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions within home settings.
* Educate children on emotional regulation, coping skills, and social skills.
* Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Master’s or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
* Licensure as a CBT Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent.
* Certification or experience in PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy) Therapy is highly desirable.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with children and adolescents in behavioral therapy or mental health support.
* Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interventions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently in a home setting while collaborating with a larger support network.
* Experience with family therapy and caregiver coaching is a plus.
* Certification in First Aid and Child Protection policies is desirable.
