Job Summary
This is a clinical and operational role with the main responsibility of leading the CT service on a daily basis.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder is expected to lead the CT department at PAH and assist the CT Modality Lead and CT Clinical Specialist in driving forward positive change. The primary focus of the role is to ensure a seamless CT service is provided on a day-to-day basis at the acute site at PAH. They will be the first point of contact for any patient escalations, equipment breakdowns, and CT staffing issues. They will be expected to work alongside the CT senior team in relation to all aspects of training and proactively suggest service improvements for the benefit of staff and patients.
They will be expected to develop and maintain the CT service alongside the CT senior team by standardising protocols, managing the patient bookings and waiting lists, and facilitating the rotation of radiographers throughout all areas.
Ultimately, they will need to work as an effective operational lead radiographer for the CT as required.
