Location: Newcastle Emtec Building Services is a leading national contractor with a highly skilled in-house workforce of mechanical, electrical, plumbing engineers, and more. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join us on site in Newcastle and the surrounding areas. The Role As a Site Supervisor working on interesting Electrical Projects your duties will involve supervising the day-to-day activities on site which are predominately undertaken by sub-contractors. Ensuring all works are carried out safely and to the required standard, achieving all KPI’s and objectives with a strong focus on quality control. Key Responsibilities Site Management and coordination - oversee site operations and liaise with sub-contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure maximum productivity, profitability, and satisfaction. Supervision and Quality Assurance - Monitor and supervisor work delivery to ensure projects are completed according to the programme and meeting set quality standards. Address any concerns promptly with the Project Manager and suggest solutions to ensure the smooth running of the site. Ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget. Compliance and Safety - Ensure site compliance with Health and Safety regulations, Emtec standard operating procedures, quality assurance accreditations, and legislative best practices. Uphold the company’s values and commitment to excellent work practices. Customer Experience - Prioritise the customer experience in all interactions, maintain professionalism when communicating with clients, and adhere to a high standard of appearance and health and safety protocols. Asset Management - Monitor and maintain all company assets, including vans, materials, tools, plant hire, uniform and PPE. Additional Duties - perform any other tasks are required, Support team members and attend informal and formal company & client meetings and training sessions as required. What We Are Looking For Previous Electrical site management experience. Ability to manage, monitor and report on Health & Safety and compliance. People management skills with the desire to lead & mentor others. Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills. Results orientated and good problem solver. Excellent planning and organisational skills. Ability to negotiate and influence. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, along with confident verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create and implement site specific / site-based risk assessments / method statements. Full UK Driving Licence It Would Be Great If You Have a recognised Electrical trade apprenticeship.
