What the Job Involves As a Carelink Call Handler Responder, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and responding to emergency calls from individuals wishing to live independently at home. Working night shifts, you will take and respond to emergency situations, provide safe and well checks, and handle the installation and maintenance of emergency call equipment. You will alternate between office duties and fieldwork, responding to emergencies in customers' homes. You will work five 7.24-hour shifts weekly, with a 36-minute break, on a rolling rota which includes weekends and bank holidays. The role is based at the Gatehouse Kedleston Road Derby, with on-site parking available.
