Our client has a requirement for a Project Manager to join their team:
They trust their project managers to own key client relationships. Therefore, excellent
communication and interpersonal skills are paramount.
Their project managers support the deployment of itstechnologies to managers, planners and
track workers who have a wide range of technical competence. You will be expected to develop a
deep understanding of the technologies so as you interact with planners and track workers and
understand their day-to-day challenges, coach them and help them use the technology; and also you will be ideally placed to explore how our products are used, uncover new use cases
and value-adding product features, and suggest improvements.
We are not looking for project managers who hide behind a screen tweaking plans, and who don’t
engage with the content of what is actually being delivered by the project. My client's project managers roll up their sleeves and get stuck in to make sure clients and their teams are left fully operationally ready to use this safeft technology, reduce incidents and save lives.
Of course, all the basics of project management still need to be there: planning, and managing
risks, dependencies, issues, timelines, budgets, scope, deliverables, quality, etc.
You are not expected to go on track alongside track workers, though many of our team are
comfortable doing so and have achieved the Personal Track Safety (PTS) qualification.

possibly occasional international visits. Please note some client-facing work will take place at
weekends and/or overnight during live deployment. We have excellent policies for expenses such

(TOIL).
