The successful Quality Engineer CMM will work on the management and execution of measurement systems and analysis.
Responsibilities include:
1. Performing and maintaining detailed records of Inspection Plans, ISIRS, and FAIRS.
2. Developing measurement policies to reduce scrap in the machine shop.
3. Participating in product design reviews to promote repeatability and reliability for production.
4. Conducting capability studies / gage R&R as directed.
5. Conducting internal audits as required to AS9100 standard.
6. Carrying out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.
To be successful in this role of Quality Engineer CMM, we would love to speak to anyone who has experience in:
1. Working knowledge of metrology with a background in Quality Engineering.
2. Ability to understand and read engineering drawings.
3. Excellent knowledge of Quality Systems.
4. Ability to maintain detailed quality records.
5. Applied working knowledge and use of basic metrology tools, both Imperial and Metric.
