To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience. Primary Responsibilities as a Child Protection Social Worker:
5. Safeguarding children who are at significant risk of harm, including assessing and managing risks
6. Taking professional responsibility for decision making
7. Provide an effective Social Work service including assessment, case planning and reviews Requirements
8. Social Work Degree
9. Registration with SSSC
10. Have knowledge and experience of statutory frameworks; policy and procedure; and best practice.
11. Have a high level of determination, organizations skills, personal drive, energy, and ambition to achieve challenging targets and improve outcomes
12. Demonstrate sound assessment and case management skills
13. Be able to work in a busy environment and to tight time scales
