Experienced Office Manager required to join dynamic new company with exciting future guaranteed, through currently secured long term customer contracts. As a leading manufacturer of high-quality springs and pressings, serving a diverse range of industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, and consumer goods, the role of Office Manager, reporting directly to Financial Controller, will involve Payroll Processing, Credit Control and Sales/Purchase Ledger Management, in addition to providing Administrative Support to Managing Director and Sales Team. Successful candidate for the position of Office Manager should have previous experience of managing a Payroll function, working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll and SAP Business One (or similar), be confident in the administration of Sales and Purchase Ledgers, IT proficient, highly organised, personable and flexible in approach. Duties of Office Manager: Run and manage (unsupervised) computerised sales and purchase ledgers (multi-currency) Be proactive with credit control to ensure timely collection of debts Maintain cash records Run and manage a weekly payroll for circa 40 employees Answer pay related queries Manage absence, sickness and holiday reporting Provide administrative support and assistance to the Managing Director and busy Sales Team Produce Word documents and Excel reports Logging of enquiries from all sources including company website Provide general support as required to allow for the smooth operation of an increasingly busy office Skills/attributes required by successful candidate for the role of Office Manager: Previous experience of Payroll Processing, Purchase and Sales Ledger management Working knowledge of Sage 50, SAP Business One (or similar) and Excel HR experience - beneficial Role relevant qualifications/certifications – beneficial Previous experience within a manufacturing environment - beneficial Numerate, organised and methodical Location: Redditch, Worcestershire Hours of Work: Mon to Thurs 8 am – 5 pm, Fri 8 am – 1 pm (39 hours per week) Salary: £27,000 p.a. to £30,000 p.a.
