Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join our large administration team within an NHS GP Practice. This is a varied administrative role providing support to our clinical team and to our patients at Portland Medical Centre, and at times, within our Keston & Moorings Practice based in Purley and Kenley. The ideal candidate(s) will be organised and motivated to deliver excellent administrative support to our patients. Main duties of the job Responsibilities Include: Responding to Practice Emails Administration of clinical letters from hospitals and other healthcare providers Clinical coding Administration of referrals to other services Booking patient appointments Requesting blood tests for patients Administration of reports from out of hours services eg 111 Administration of QOF - letters, recalls etc Administration of the clinical diary for scheduled blood tests, appointments etc. Providing Reception lunch cover Supporting the clinicians with administration tasks relating to triage General Administration duties Actioning blood results (HBA1C) Communicating with patients via phone, email and text Signposting patients to the correct pathway Ensuring administration tasks are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner Scanning Clinical Letters and Reports Reception Duties About us Bourne Health is a leading Primary Care NHS (National Health Service) GP (General Practitioner) Partnership.
