Knowledge, Training and Experience
Essential Criteria
* Part CCAB / CIMA qualified or AAT qualified or can demonstrate good progress towards completing qualification, or equivalent experience of working at a similar level in finance.
* Further training or significant experience in financial management.
* Minimum of two years' experience of financial and accounting procedures.
* Good computer literacy and advanced knowledge of complex spreadsheets.
* Experience of improving financial services to budget managers.
Desirable Criteria
* Workforce development knowledge and experience.
* Database and SBS experience.
* Previous experience in similar role in public sector.
Communication Skills
Essential Criteria
* Clear communicator with excellent writing, report writing, and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audiences.
* Skills for communication on complex financial matters and difficult situations, requiring persuasion and influence.
* Skills for nurturing key relationships and maintaining networks.
