We are seeking to appoint a reliable, efficient and enthusiastic person to the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant. An interest in mathematics and/or science would be desirable.
The role involves supporting SEND pupils to learn, progress and achieve. Working closely with teachers is a key aspect of the role. The successfully appointed person will be responsible for agreed learning activities, including planning, preparing and delivering learning to individuals, groups and whole classes. This could include class cover supervision on occasions.
The successful candidate will be educated to Level 3 (two GCE ‘A’ Level passes) and possess Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics (GCSE Grade C or higher or equivalent). Prospective candidates are advised to study the person specification and job description for this post carefully.
