We are looking for a Quality Manufacturing Engineer for an ongoing assignment in the aerospace industry.
As a Quality Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality components by conducting inspections, managing metrology equipment, and maintaining adherence to industry standards. Your role will involve working within an AS9100 quality environment and collaborating with internal teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
Pay Rate:
* Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 8:00am - 5:00pm
The Candidate:
* Experience in quality control and assurance, ideally in aerospace manufacturing
* Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with tooling and fixtures development
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T specifications
* Familiarity with CAD software (design and drafting)
* Experience with carbon fibre composites is a bonus
* Good problem-solving skills, including conducting root cause analysis
* Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
