As a Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, legality, and quality of Sainsbury's brand products, working collaboratively with suppliers, product developers, trading, supply chain, and retail teams. With a focus on driving the technical agenda, you will have the opportunity to manage projects, implement quality standards, and develop innovative solutions to improve product quality and sustainability.
What you'll do
As a Product Technologist at Sainsbury's, your role will encompass the management and delivery of all aspects of the Sainsbury’s Brand product and technical plans for the product area. You will work closely with suppliers, product developers, trading, supply chain, and retail teams to ensure the safe, legal, and high-quality production of Sainsbury's brand products that meet agreed specifications, standards, and policies. In this role, your focus will be on driving the quality and technical agenda for the nightwear and slippers (all genders) product area, including the delivery of our Net Zero commitments and keeping the customer at the heart of all decisions.
Who you are
As a Technologist for Sainsbury's, you are an experienced professional responsible for managing the delivery of product and technical plans for your assigned product area. With a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and supplier performance, you collaborate closely with suppliers, product developers, trading, supply chain, and retail teams to ensure the consistent production of high-quality products that meet the specified standards, policies, and customer requirements.
