About the Role: As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for a mix of new business development and account management, working closely with existing customers while also driving new client acquisition. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of your own portfolio and develop strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in the IT distribution space. You will be involved in: Managing and growing a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the IT distribution sector. Building strong relationships with both existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Collaborating with internal teams to deliver excellent service and resolve customer issues. Achieving sales targets and KPIs, ensuring that the company’s objectives are met. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement account strategies to drive business growth. Regularly meet with clients to understand their requirements and deliver exceptional service. Maintain a pipeline of potential business and follow up on leads. Provide clients with up-to-date product information and offer relevant solutions. Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth delivery of solutions. Report regularly on progress, forecasts, and outcomes to senior management. About You: The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in account management and business development within the IT sector. A strong understanding of the IT distribution industry and the products/services available. A proactive approach to developing new business and managing existing accounts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ability to meet sales targets and work independently, as well as part of a team. A full UK driving license is preferred, as some travel may be required.
