Arden White Aviation & Aerospace Recruitment specialists are recruiting on behalf of a leading aviation component supplier / repairer that are seeking a Sales Manager to lead their team due to an imminent vacancy. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated sales and customer service team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a team of 8 staff across Customer Service & Sales; providing guidance on sales quotes and fostering initiative.
* Oversee account management, focusing primarily on key aviation customers
* Actively reach out to customers to build and expand business relationships.
* Collaborate closely with the new Head of department to align strategies and goals.
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience in commercial / sales leadership role, specifically within the aviation sector.
* Strong account management skills, with the ability to engage and develop client relationships.
* Familiarity with sales systems such as Quantum, SAP, IFS, or Pentagon (Quantum experience is highly desirable).
* Must be local and easily commutable to the office in Essex.
