I am recruiting a Clinical Deputy Manager on behalf of a leading care provider in Colchester. To be considered for this Clinical Deputy Manager role, you must have previous deputy experience, be nurse qualified, and come from a nursing home or similar background.
In return, the client will offer you an amazing salary of £50k per annum!
Roles and responsibilities for the Clinical Deputy Manager role:
1. As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the home manager to assist in the day-to-day running of the home.
2. Provide effective leadership and support for the nursing and care team within the home.
3. Oversee the delivery of the high calibre care that is being given.
4. Ensure all residents in the home receive the highest standard of care.
5. Liaise with GPs and other health professionals to ensure that residents receive the medical and clinical support they require.
6. Act at all times within own competence and knowledge in line with NMC registration requirements.
7. Provide staff management, support, and development.
8. Step in for the manager in their absence and take on delegated responsibilities.
9. Responsible for reporting incidents or concerns related to safeguarding adults to the safeguarding team.
10. Ensure the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) for PREP and continuing registration are met.
Essential skills and qualifications for the Clinical Deputy Manager role:
1. Deputy Manager experience within a Nursing Home / Care Home.
2. Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
3. Nurse qualified with valid NMC pin.
4. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with residents, external healthcare professionals, family members, visitors, and the staff within the home.
