Digital Project Manager - retail/ eCommerce
A well recognized client in London is looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager with a background in retail (or a digital agency background delivering projects for retail clients). This role will lead the full lifecycle of eCommerce projects, focusing on planning, coordination, and seamless execution across digital platforms.
The Digital Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing site performance, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing third-party vendors to deliver critical digital initiatives, including app launches, analytics integrations, and website enhancements.
*This person will be required to be onsite 4 days a week in London
Key Responsibilities
- Drive full project lifecycles within an eCommerce environment, from initial planning to final delivery.
- Monitor daily site performance and handle issue escalation as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and manage external resources, including developers, technical support, and testing teams.
- Oversee third-party vendor relationships to ensure seamless project integration.
- Lead project initiation, control budgets, and manage change processes.
- Regularly update stakeholders on project status and milestones.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record in delivering digital projects within a retail environment or at a digital agency for retail clients.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of project management frameworks (PRINCE2, Agile) and tools (Jira, SAP experience a plus).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with stakeholders at all levels.
