Description Join the Reporting & Analytics team and support the reporting for Markets Operations division within Corporate & Investment Bank for all asset classes As a project manager in operations you will be responsible for running new projects in the area of reporting (Management Information System as well as regulatory), gathering requirements and performing data analytics on front-to-back office data. You will be responsible for Business Analysis & driving change projects. You will interact with multiple operations teams within the organization as well as on-shore business & technology teams. You will have opportunities to participate in a range of regional & global projects including any process improvement initiatives. Job responsibilities Works with huge sets of data from varied systems and stitch it together to derive meaningful information Gathers, understands and documents business requirements (BRDs, Functional Specifications) Works closely with the technology team to explain the requirements; tests the solution developed by them and also performs User Acceptance Testing in close coordination with Operations Leads Interacts with other Tech teams for inputs and enhancements to their systems Manages the project end-to-end; ensuring quality output within prescribed timelines Communicates progress to senior management & escalates issues Liaises with technology and operations globally to understand potential re-use Adheres to key control/regulatory/audit standards Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Graduate or Post-Graduate with previous experience in operations and Reporting & Analytics Excellent with data analysis, data mining and system analysis. Familiarity with a global bank's process & operational environment including management and external reporting is a must. Knowledge of Investment Banking, including product, process and system knowledge. Sound knowledge of the trade lifecycle Deal with day-to-day issues as well as planning and executing projects / initiatives Excellent attention to detail, and an ability to know when a deep-dive approach is appropriate Ability to drive results through a "hands-on" approach Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization Skilled in MS office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access and Project Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and can prioritize one's own work to achieve them Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle & Agile methodology Strong analytical and problem solving skills Preferred qualifications, cababilities, and skills Experience with tools like Alteryx, SQL, QlikView, and/or Tableau is a plus Additional information This role is a part-time role 19 hours per week
