Our client is looking for an ambitious Engineering Geologist to join the established team. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in geotechnical engineering to work with a contractor, delivering bespoke design and build solutions, with a particular emphasis on the stabilisation of rock and soil slopes.
You'll need to hold a Bachelor's degree in geology/civil engineering or a related subject, with comprehensive experience in a similar role. With practical experience of inspecting rock and soil slopes and using slope stability software, you'll be skilled in preparing quotations, inspection reports and design documentation. An excellent communicator, you'll have great interpersonal skills and enjoy working collaboratively.
The role will be office based, but you will be offsite regularly, undertaking inspections and site visits.
The successful candidate must be willing to undertake IRATA rope-access training and inspections.
Due to the nature of this role, it is essential you hold a full, clean driving licence.
