If you have an analytical mindset and enjoy connecting with people, we would love to hear from you A bit about the role: The role sits at the heart of our business within the Internal Operations area of the Performance, Governance and Reporting (PGR) Team. In this role you will be responsible for helping ensure supplier services remain compliant with the Group Procurement & Outsourcing business standard across the IWR (Insurance, Wealth & Retirement) supplier landscape. Reporting to the Risk and Governance Manager within PGR, you will primarily support the IWR Supplier Governance team delivering governance, risk, and assurance services across our important business standards, with the opportunity to support the wider Internal Operations team based upon priorities and business demand. Working closely with Supplier Governance leads, Partner and Supplier management teams and Group Procurement and providing support to other internal SME functions such as Operational Resilience, Financial Crime, Governance & Assurance (G&A) risk partners, you will: Support the delivery of the Quality Assurance Framework activities identifying themes and areas for improvement and communicating audit findings to the Supplier management community. Support monitoring and oversight of key supplier governance related activities such as the Third-Party Information Security (TPISA) process, compliance with Aviva's Purchase to Pay (P2P) policy, Supplier Management Capability assessments, maintenance of the IWR supplier landscape and preparation of reporting material for Partnership and Supply Management Governance Forums. Work closely with other departments, including Compliance, Operational Resilience, Data Privacy, Information Security, Internal Audit, and IT, to ensure a cohesive approach to supplier risk management and help ensure supplier compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies and business standards. Provide additional governance and oversight support to the wider Internal Operations Team Skills and experience we're looking for: Experience in a supplier governance, supplier management or a risk management role. A good understanding of the Procurement and Outsourcing Business standard (and other relevant business standards, such as Operational Resilience and Business Protection), risk and control best practice and financial services regulations. Strong data analytics, problem-solving and reporting capability, providing insight, recommendations and reporting for senior management. Excellent communication and interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, coupled with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
