Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care for residents, particularly in the areas of senior care, dementia care, and assisted living. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively while developing and implementing care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Duties
1. Lead and manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
2. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, ensuring that their needs are met with dignity and respect.
3. Provide guidance and support to staff members, fostering a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
4. Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and external stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
5. Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management to ensure a skilled workforce capable of delivering high-quality care.
6. Monitor the quality of care provided within the facility, implementing improvements where necessary to enhance resident satisfaction.
7. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the home, promoting a safe environment for both residents and staff.
Experience
1. Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home or similar setting is essential.
2. Strong background in senior care, assisted living, or nursing home environments is highly desirable.
3. Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
4. Knowledge of dementia care practices and experience in developing tailored care plans is advantageous.
5. A relevant nursing qualification or equivalent experience in healthcare management is preferred.
