Senior Care Assistant Role:
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant in our Complex Care Division. As a Senior Carer, your role would involve working night shifts in our South Kent division, in Deal, Folkestone, Ashford and New Romney.
You work on a long-term basis with one or a small number of clients and will benefit from a permanent contract, as well as the option of overtime. We are looking for carers who are keen to work full-time hours however part-time roles are offered.
The training you will receive:
We will provide paid classroom-based training when you join us, with paid induction shifts and ongoing supervision provided by our in-house team of nurses and supervisors. Additional paid training is also provided to meet client-specific needs.
We support Senior Carers who want to grow their skills and progress within the company.
When you join us, you’ll receive:
* Competitive rates of pay – £16.45-£18.80 per hour
* £32.90 per hour for bank holiday work.
* Paid mileage of 45p per mile over 20 miles from your home.
* Permanent contract.

Responsibilities
* Supporting a variety of clients over the South of Kent on a 1-1 basis.
* Supporting clients with spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, long term disabilities.
* Supporting clients over night with clinical interventions, ensuring they are comfortable.
* Building relationships with the clients, their families and the regular care team.
Requirements
* Must have experience with PEG, tracheostomy, ventilators, seizure management
* Must have experience supporting ABI / spinal injury
* A full UK driving license with access to your own car
* Happy to commute to Ashford, Deal, Folkestone, Dover and New Romney
* Commitment to a full-time contract
