Hays Accountancy & Finance are exclusively partnering with a leading, successful and growing international services group to recruit a dynamic & hands-on FP&A Analyst to join their close-knit finance team based between Stroud & Gloucester, Gloucestershire. The position will support the Head of Finance with forward planning the vision of the business and helping to steer that vision through insightful analysis and reporting. The position will offer remote/office hybrid working and a study package for CIMA/ACCA/ACA if applicable. Candidates who are part/newly qualified or qualified by experience will be considered. Also open to Accountants looking to make their first move into an FP&A focused position.
Your new role
Your key duties will involve:
1. Key annual budgeting processes, coordinating the process for various business lines.
2. Quarterly reviews on actuals with forward forecasting.
3. Assisting in identifying risk to the organisation.
4. Holding and participating in monthly P&L reviews.
5. Performing analytical reviews of monthly operating results.
6. Monthly reporting on various projects.
7. Analysis of intangible assets, CAPEX/OPEX, margin recognition, benchmarking processes.
8. Ad-hoc financial reporting and assisting with FP&A process improvement for the Group.
9. Business partnering with various internal stakeholders and management regarding business performance.
10. Routine month/year-end tasks including account reconciliations, general ledger analysis and balance sheet processes.
11. Supporting the Head of Finance with standardisation of KPI reporting and involvement in various projects to support growth.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this permanent FP&A Analyst role, you will need:
1. Experience within a similar position.
2. Strong communication skills to partner and build relationships both internally/externally at all levels.
3. Key analytical skills and good attention to detail.
4. Experience with forecasting and budgeting along with P&L reviews.
5. Key MS Excel skills and experience managing workloads to meet deadlines.
6. A hands-on working approach, strong problem-solving skills, and adaptability within a growing and changing group.
7. Eagerness to improve systems and processes and experience in a range of financial systems.
What you'll get in return
This unique FP&A Analyst role is offering a salary between £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience based between Stroud & Gloucester, Gloucestershire. Remote/office hybrid working offered, bonus scheme up to 10%, study package for CIMA/ACCA/ACA if applicable, contributed pension scheme, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, and further group benefits.
