Enfinium Skelton Grange is a new, state-of-the-art energy-from-waste facility in Leeds, set to become operational this summer. This site represents a significant investment in the local community, with over 400 jobs created during construction and 40 high-quality full-time roles once operational. The facility will play a crucial role in driving a circular economy and contributing to UK decarbonisation efforts by diverting unrecyclable waste from high-emissions landfill sites.

Role Summary
As a Weighbridge Operator, you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the safe, compliant, legal, regulatory, and environmental aspects of the weighbridge and ancillary equipment.
* Reporting daily information and resolving queries promptly.
* Directing vehicle movements both inbound and outbound.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Conduct all weighbridge operations within prescribed Health, Safety, and Environmental constraints and guidelines.
* Ensure the facility operates within its Environmental Permit, Planning Conditions, and complies with duty of care responsibilities.
* Provide strong, professional customer focus while managing all inputs/outputs to the site.
* Maintain close liaison with operational and maintenance colleagues to ensure the facility functions as an integrated whole, maximizing safety, availability, and efficiency.
* Enable the facility to meet its contractual and company targets for safety, waste inputs, vehicle turn-around times, and residue outputs.
Qualifications & Experience
* Educated to GCSE level (Maths and English).
* Knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
* Understanding of waste regulations, duty of care, transfer notes, etc.
* High competency in operating weighbridge software systems. Desirable but not essential.
* IT literate and proficient in computer software systems and Excel reporting tools is essential.
