The Director of Transformation and CI is responsible for leading and overseeing strategic transformational initiatives for the organization. This role includes developing and implementing a vision and strategy for organizational transformation and CI, creating sustainable performance conditions, and ensuring effective implementation of transformation and CI plans.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a diverse team comprising Master Black Belts, Black Belts, and CI leaders to ensure alignment with global business strategies and objectives.
• Develop and propose a transformational plan, organization, and governance structure.
• Establish and implement transformation and CI roadmaps to achieve the expected level of performance.
• Drive a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and innovation, emphasizing quality and operational excellence.
• Serve as the main interface to the organization's leadership team and CEO, presenting information and updates on transformational initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with leadership team, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and successes of transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to embed transformation initiatives in daily operations.
• Oversee the development of training programs and certification systems for Lean Six Sigma and other CI tools.
• Drive engagement with participative innovation across the organization.
• Support the business in identifying and prioritizing high-impact transformation opportunities within budget constraints.
• Manage risk by identifying compliance and operational risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and analyze financial and operational metrics to measure the effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
Travel specificity
Required to travel occasionally (UK/International) to support transformative initiatives and share best practices.
Candidate skills & requirements
• Master Black Belt accredited.
• Profound understanding of industrial entity processes and operations.
• Expertise in leveraging change management in complex organizations.
• Fundamental knowledge of techno-economic management and performance management.
• Practical experience with Lean-Sigma, QRQC, problem-solving tools, operational excellence systems, and managing complex projects.
• Proven ability to lead transformation projects yielding business-level results.
• Experience in training and coaching.
