Facilities Manager
Location: Central London
Salary: £45,000+ per annum
Role Overview
As a Facilities Manager, you will supervise facilities management services for prestigious buildings in London, overseeing both hard and soft services operations. This role involves significant interaction with customers and the daily management of site-based staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with service agreements for Engineering Services Maintenance and Facilities Services.
* Manage operational development and resource allocation to meet performance targets.
* Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and flexibility.
* Communicate operational updates to Supervisors and address issues promptly.
* Analyse data and performance metrics monthly, implementing action plans as necessary.
* Maintain close communication with clients regarding maintenance operations.
* Conduct daily operational meetings with Supervisors.
* Ensure the commercial viability and growth of the contract.
* Advocate for the IMS Quality System and document ongoing initiatives.
* Participate in formal site meetings with clients.
* Plan maintenance activities, ensuring proper manpower and resource utilization.
* Manage emergency response procedures and foster a culture of safety.
* Ensure compliance with site safety and quality standards.
* Supervise subcontractor management, performance audits, and visit controls.
* Conduct staff performance evaluations and identify training needs.
* Investigate accidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
* Proactively support clients with critical plant replacements, emergency planning, and maintenance strategy reviews.
Candidate Profile
Who You Are:
* Proven experience in operations management within a hard services facilities management environment.
* Technical background in electrical or mechanical fields.
* Proficient in IT skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build customer relationships.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
* Experience in managing and developing teams.
* Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
* Professional and approachable demeanor.
* Clean, full driving license; BIFM qualification is a plus.
