Job summary To contribute to an efficient and accurate pharmacy service to ensure the safe and effective use and procurement of medicines throughout at SHSC NHS Foundation Trust. Under the direction of the Chief Pharmacist, Deputy Chief Pharmacist and the Senior Pharmacy Technicians, the post holder will perform whatever duties are reasonable and necessary to achieve the job purpose and overall safe provision of pharmacy services throughout the trust. There is a requirement to be confident and able to work with service users and other healthcare professionals internally and other organisations. Must hold a level 2 NVQ in Pharmacy Services Main duties of the job To participate in the provision of dispensing services across the Trust. To participate in the non-clinical aspects of their work, e.g., stock unpacking and checking, assembly of orders/requisitions, top-ups etc. To support the clerical functions of the department in activities such as ordering, filing, data input and retrieval, and other general tasks. To undertake other non-clinical tasks as required. To undertake supporting with the administration duties within the department and other colleagues. Undertake matching and completing invoices on medications used throughout the department. Participate in phlebotomy services.
